Book Description
يتناول هذا الكتاب حياة الشاعر "عنترة بن عمرو بن شداد بن معاوية بن قراد العبسي" (525م- 608م) وديوانه المعروف (ديوان عنترة).
يبدأ الكتاب بالتعريف بالشاعر وموطنه واعتراف أبيه به وحبه لعبلة ومن ثم الروايات التي جاءت في مقتله.
بعد ذلك يتطرق الكتاب إلى شخصية عنترة وشعره. فهو احد أشهر شعراء العرب في فترة ما قبل الإسلام، ويعد من شعراء الحماسة، يصف مواقفه أجمل وصفٍ، ويصف خصمه، فيجعله متحلياً بجميع الفضائل الجاهلية ، ثم يفتخر بأنه قتله.
ويمتاز شعره، على ما يرى الرواة، بجمال الوصف، بجمعه بين الرقة والشدة وشرف المعاني وسهولة اللفظ، وحسن الانجسام ومتانة التعبير والرنة الموسيقية...
يقسم الكتاب إلى قسمين: القسم الأول يشتمل على الشعر الثابت لعنترة، وهو ما رواه الرواة الذين تقدَموا وضع قصته: كالأصمعي وأبي عبيدة وابي عمرو بن العلاء والمفضل الضبي وأبي سعيد السكَري والبطليوسي، ومن أخذ عنهم.
أما القسم الثاني فيحتوي الشعر المشكوك في صحته، وهو ما روي في قصته، وفي ديوانه الذي جمع بعد وضعها.
تحت عنوان (ألا يا دار عبلة!) يقول عنترة بن شداد: "ألا يا دار عبلة بالطويَ، كرجع الوشم في كفَ الهدي/ كوحي صحائفٍ من عهد كسرى، فأهداها لأعجم طمطمي (...)".
