ولا شك في أن الشهادة لا تكتمل إلا باكتمال العملية نفسها، وهذه الاجتهادات لا تغني عن شهادة تفصيلية ترصد بالتاريخ اليومي وذاكرة التجربة لمسار العملية التفاوضية وعملية السلام برمتها، بل إنها تمهد لها، لتأتي الأخرى في زمنها ووقتها الملائمين.
وأما معركة السلام، فسنظل نتابع مسيرتها على جميع الجبهات، متمسكين بحقوقنا الوطنية الثابتة القائمة على رفض الاحتلال وإنهاء كل مظاهره على الأرض الفلسطينية، وتحقيق أحلام شعبنا بالعودة إلى وطنه، وإقامة دولته المستقلة وعاصمتها القدس.
ودون ذلك، سوف يبقى السلام معلقاً فالسلام لا يمكن أن يدار بذهنية جنرالات الحروب، وبنزعاتهم التوسيعية والاستحواذية، ولا يمكنه أن يقوم فوق أرض هلامية أو رمال متحركة. وكل ما نخشاه، أن السلام المعلق لا يمكنه أن يظل معلقاً ولزمن طويل في فضاء غامض وقاتم.. أو منطاداً تائهاً في الفضاء، فهو إما أن يهبط على الأرض بسلام.. أو أن ينفجر.. مرة واحدة وإلى الأبد!
