تاتي هذه الطبعة الجديدة تعبيرا عن الانطباعات التي خرجت بها خلال زياراتي لستة دول عربية، ومشاركاتي في اعمال مؤتمرات عربية عديدة تعنى بتعليم الموهوبين، ولقاءاتي مع عدد من المسؤلين والرواد في مؤسسات تربوية حكومية وجمعيات اهلية يحتل الطفل الموهوب حيزا كبيرا من مجمل نشاطاتها.وتتلخص هخذه الانطباعات في مجموعة مؤشرات من اهمها: 1- تزايد الاهتمام الحكومي والاهلي بتطوير مشروعات وبرامج خاصة تتناسب مع احتياجات الاطفال واليافعين من الموهوبين والمتفوقين، 2- الحاجة المتزايدة لمراجع عربية متخصصة في مجال تربية الموهوبين والمتفوقين وتعليمهم، وكذلك الحاجة المتزايدة لمواد تعليمية في مختلف المواد الدراسية لافتقار الميدان بصورة صارخة لاي مواد تعليمية مدروسة ومعدة بشكل جيد، 3- الحاجة الملحة لاختبارات استعداد اكاديمي اواختبارات ذكاء او قدرات يتم تطويرها وتقنيتها للمجتمعات العربية عى مستوى اقليمي او قومي وتصلح للاستخدام في الكشف عن الاطفال واليافعين الموهوبين والمتفوقين في المراحل العمرية المختلفة، 4- دخول مكتب التربية العربي لدول الخليج في الرياض والمنظمة العربية للتربية والثقافة والعلوم ( اليكسو ) في تونس بجديه الى الميدان عن طريق تبني مجموعة من الدراسات والبحوث الهادفة لتقييم واقع تربية الموهوبين والمتفوقين في الدول العربية وتطوير الخطوط العريضة لمناهج اثرائية مناسبة في مادتي الرياضيات والعلوم.
