سعد البزاز (ولد في الموصل، العراق في 18 أبريل 1952) هو رجل أعمال وكاتب عراقي يعيش في لندن.
خاله وزير الاعلام السابق شاذل طاقة، عين مديرا للمركز الثقافي العراقي في لندن، وفي زمن الرئيس العراقي صدام حسين عين مديرا لوكالة الانباء العراقية ومن ثم أصبح مديرا للاذاعة والتلفزيون العراقية، ومن ثم أصبح نائبا ًلـعدي صدام حسين في نقابة الصحفيين العراقيين.
غادر العراق في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1992 وأسس في لندن جريدة الزمان المعارضة لنظام الرئيس العراقي السابق صدام حسين في ذلك الوقت.

سنرى في هذا الكتاب أن الحديث في قضايا الأكراد هو مدخل للحديث في مسائل أخرى لا تقل أهمية، بل تزيد إثارة أحياناً، من مستوى معالجة فلسفة الحكم وقضايا الحريات وأسلوب إدارة الأزمات والسياسات الإقليمية والعلاقة مع دول الجوار.. ومستقبل الحياة السياسية في العراق والمنطقة.
يستنتج سعد البزاز في هذا الكتاب أن المسألة الكردية قد تستمر عقوداً أخرى موضوعاً للتداول الحاد بين القوى الدولية والإقليمية وهو الأمر الذي سيحول دون الوصول إلى حلول شاملة تحظى برضا جميع الأطراف المتنازعة.. ولذلك فإنه يتوقع مزيداً من الصراعات والحروب عند حافات موطن الأكراد وقضيتهم.
ويقدم الكاتب بخبرته السياسية العميقة ومعلوماته الغنية عرضاً مشوقاً بالصراع على هذه المنطقة.
وقد وجدنا أن يضم الكتاب ثلاثة محاور مختارة من بين الحوارات التي خاضها البزاز على أثر التطور السريع للأحداث في العراق، حيث كان قد التقى مرتين مع أبناء الجالية العراقية في الأردن وشارك في حلقة نقاش نظمها المركز الأردني للدراسات والمعلومات وتحدث مطولاً إلى جريدة (الحياة)، كما يضم الكتاب أهم الوثائق التي تتصل بالقضية الكردية في العراق، وسنجد أن هذه الأجزاء تتكامل مع بعضها البعض لتشكل موضوعاً واحداً يدور حول الأسئلة الكبيرة: ماذا جرى.. ولماذا جرى.. وما الذي يمكن أن يحصل في المستقبل..؟
