"إن الفيلسوف الذي عرف حقِّ المعرفة بأن المحايثة ليست محايثةً سوى لِذّاتِهَا، وبأنها كانت بذلك مستوى تجتازه حركاتُ اللامتناهي وتملؤهُ الأراتيبُ التكثيفية، هو سبينوزا.
لذلك فهو أمِيرُ الفلاسفة، وربما كان هو الفيلسوف الوحيد الذي لم يقدِّم أيِّ تنازلٍ للتعالي والوحِيد الذي طاردهُ في كلِّ مكان.
لقد أُنجزَ حركَةَ اللامتناهي وأعطى للفكر سُرْعاتٍ لا متناهية في الجنْسِ الثالث من المعرفةِ، في الجزء الأخير من كتابِ "الإتيقا"؛ لقد توصلَ فيه إلى سُرْعاتٍ خارقةٍ ومختصراتٍ مذهلةٍ إلى درجة أننا لن نتحدَّث بصددِها إلا عن موسيقى وإعصار، عن ربح وأوتار.
إن الحرِّيَةَ الوحيدة هي التي وجدها في المحايثة، لقد أكملَ الفلسفةَ لأنهُ أنجز فرضيتها الما قبل – فلسفية، ليست المحايثةُ هي التي تُحمل على الجوهر والأحوال السبينوزية، بل العكس.
إن المفاهيم سبينوزا، أي الجوهر والأحوال، هي التي تُحملُ على مستوى المحايثة كما لو كانت هي فرضيتها المسبقة، يقدِّمُ لنا هذا المستوى وجهّيه، أي الإمتداد والفكر، أو بالضبطِ يقدم لنا قوَّتيه، أي قوّة الوجود وقوة الفكر.
يمثلُّ سبينوزا حالة دوار المحايثة التي يحاولُ كثيرٌ من الفلاسفة الإنفلات منها من دون جدوى، فهل سنصل يوماً إلى درجة كافية من النضج لتلقي إلْهَامٍ سبينوزي؟".
