Book Description
"التجدد الديني وعلماء الأمة" موضوع مقالة للعلاّمة محمد سعيد العرفي من ضمن سلسلة مقالات نشرت في مجلة الرابطة الإسلامية سنة (1352ه)، وفيها يناقش المؤلف رأيين الأول التجدد في الدين، والثاني القائلون ببقاء الشيء على الصفة التي تلقوها، ويورد أدلة الفريقين والنزاع القائم بينهما، ويقدم رأيه بعد أن يقسمهما في الكتاب إلى حزبين. أما الحزب الأول "حزب التقليد الأعمى" : فهو السبب الوحيد في إيجاد التجدد والإنفلات؛ لأن ضغطه على المفكرين وسلوكه طريق التنطح والتشديد وله هذا الإنفجار" ، ولكن هذا لم يمنع المؤلف من اعتبار حزب التقليد الأعمى "هو الذي قلب أذهان معظم المسلمين، فجعلهم يعتبرون الدين عبارة عن قشور لا لباب فيها (...) فشوهوا وجه الدين وكانوا فتنة حذرنا الله منهم ..."، وأما الحزب الثاني فهو "حزب التجدد والإنفلات" نجم عنه تمزيق شمل الدين وتغيير حقيقته؛ فقد تبدلت أحكامه الأساسية في بعض الأقطار التي كانت تسمى اسلامية، وإذا لم يقف في وجه هذا التيار مصلحون عندئذ يصبح الدين الإسلامي ديناً آخر، لا علاقة له بحقيقة الدين ...".
وأخيراً ، لا بد من القول أن الجمود والتجدد طرفان للتفريط والإفراط، وإن خير الأمور الإعتدال والوسط، وبذلك مدح الله الإسلام بقوله: "وكذلك جعلكم أمةً وسطاً" ما يعني شرعها معتدل جمع بين العمل والنظر، واعتدال في الأحكام، فلم يحجب بحقوق أحد ولذلك سمي المسلمون أمة وسطاً.
