الإسناد خصيصة فاضلة من خصائص هذه الأمة ، وسنَّة بالغة من السنن المؤكدة ، كما قال الإمام ابن الصلاح رحمه الله تعالى . ولعلم الإسناد أهمية بالغة في حياة هذه الأمة ، فهو دعامة الحق وأساس التوثيق ، وسفينة النجاة من خضم بحار الدسِّ والكذب ، بل هو روح الدين وجوهره ؛ ولذلك قال الإمام ابن المبارك رحمه الله تعالى : ( الإسناد من الدين ، ولولا الإسناد . . لقال مَن شاء ما شاء ) . ولقد رأينا اهتمام علماء الأمة بهذا العلم الشريف ، فأنفقوا فيه أنفس ما يملكون من أنفاسهم وأعمارهم ، واعتنوا به أيما عناية ، حتى أفرده بعضهم بالتأليف والتصنيف ، فجمع الأسانيد ومرويات الشيوخ ؛ حفظاً لها من الضياع . ومن هؤلاء الأئمة الأعلام ، العلامة المقرئ المحدث الفقيه الأصولي : أحمد جابر جبران رحمه الله تعالى ؛ حيث ألَّف هذا السِّفر ، وذكر في مقدمة الكتاب الباعث له على هذا الصنيع فقال : ( لما كثر عليَّ طلب الاستجازات من الأحباب ، وشقَّ عليَّ الكتابة لكل فردٍ في هذا الباب . . استخرت الله في جمع خلاصة شافية ، وعجالة وافية ، تكون دالة على المطلوب . . . ) . ذكر المؤلف رحمه الله تعالى ترجمته وطلبه للعلم ، وأخذه عن العلماء ورحلته إليهم ، وقراءته عليهم وإجازتهم له ، وكما قالوا : ( عند ذكر الصالحين تتنزل الرحمات ) ، حقاً عندما تقرأ سير الرجال وتراجمهم تشحذ همتك ، وتظن أن هذا المترجم جاءك من عصر السلف الصالح : عصر الحافظ ابن حجر أو النووي أو ابن الصلاح ، رحمهم الله تعالى !! عندما تطالع عناوين الكتب التي قرأها واستجاز بها ودَرَسها ودرَّسها . . عندها تعلم قدر هذا العالم ، وتعلم أنه أمضى حياته في العلم تحصيلاً وتدريساً . فدونك أيها القارئ هذا الثبت القيم النافع .
