لقد اختفت الملصقات التي تكرّم شهداء الإنتفاضة الفلسطينية من شوارع رام الله، لتحل مكانها اللوحات الإعلانية الضخمة الداعية إلى الحصول على التسليفات العقارية.
وتحولت بلدة في الضفة الغربية - مسرح البارود الأخير لياسر عرفات الذي حوصر في العام 2002 من قبل الدبابات الإسرائيلية حيث تحول مقر قيادته العامة إلى أنقاض - إلى مدينة صغيرة منفتحة على العالم وتتوزع فيها الحانات العصرية والمساكن الفاخرة.
ولقد غدت رام الله واجهةً لمخطط رئيس الوزراء الفلسطيني الأكثر حيوية "سلام فياض"، الذي يهدف إلى إنشاء دولة أمر واقع تحت سمع وبصر الإحتلال الإسرائيلي.
ويدعم مشروعه من الدول المانحة التي تنفق سنوياً مجموعة من الأوراق الخضراء المتمثلة بالإعداد الضخمة من الدولارات الأميركية التي تضخها في الأراضي المحتلة.
ما هي الدلالة التي تعطيها رام الله؟ وإلى ماذا ترمز عملية صعود وتعاظم السلطة الفلسطينية؟ والإستقلال الذي لا مفر منه بالنسبة للأراضي المحتلة؟ أو تسفيه السلطة الفلسطينية للإحتلال الإسرائيلي وتبسيطه وبالتالي ضعف حركة التحرر الفلسطينية؟ وإلى مفترق طرق التحقيق والتقرير الصحفيين حول "حلم رام الله" الرواية الحقيقية لبانتوستان الذهبي، أو بالأحرى مسرح الظل لعملية السلام.
ويبدي مؤلف هذا الكتاب الصحفي الفرنسي لدى صحيفة "اللوموند" الفرنسية بنجامين بارت إهتمامه بالتحولات العميقة التي يشهدها المجتمع الفلسطيني الغير مسيس من الداخل بفعل صناعة المساعدة.
إن الشخصيات التي تتقاطع في هذا المسرد من مفاوضين ودبلوماسيين ورجال أعمال أو نشطاء فاعلين يرسمون صورة عن الدولة المستحيلة حيث يختفي هذا الإقليم بشكل مستمر في إطار خطوات قادته حيث إقتصاده مصادر من قبل فئة تتمتع بإمتيازات لافتة.
كتاب جدير بالقراءة لأنه ينذر بالعاصفة قبل هبوبها.
