هذا الكتيِّب، وُضع خصيصاً للراغبين في تعلُّم اللُّغة الروسيّة بدون معلّم، وقد سعى المؤلف لتبسيط قواعد اللغة مع إعطاء بعض الأمثلة بقصد إيصالها إلى القارئ بشكل واضح.
للغة الروسيّة ميّزات خاصة إذا قورنت بسائر اللغات، هذه الميّزات دفعه إلى تقسيم الكتاب بشكل مُغاير للكتب المتَّبعة لتعليم اللغات بدون معلّم.
ومن أهم ميّزات اللغة الروسية ما يلي: 1-هناك أحرف في اللغة الروسيّة تتطابق في الشكل مع الأحرف اللاتينية، وتختلف عنها في اللفظ، وذلك حسب موقعها في الكلمة، هذا بالإضافة إلى أنّ هناك أحرفاً خاصة باللغة الروسية ليست في غيرها؛ 2-في اللُّغة الروسيّة كلماتٌ منبورة وأخرى غير منبورة، وبناءً عليه يتغيَّر نطق الكلمة، مع مدّ الصوت على الحرف المنبور، أو عدم مدّه إذا كانت الكلمة غير منبورة، هناك أحرف ساكنة، تُلفظ مرقّقة، أو مفخّمة حسب ما يأتي بعدها من أحرف مرقّقة، أو إذا صُودِفَت وحدها في الكلمة.
هذا فيما يتعلّق بالحروف الهجائية والكلمات، أمّا فيما يتعلّق بقواعد اللغة الروسيّة، فهناك ميّزات عديدة أبرزها أنّ في اللغة الروسيّة ستّ حالات إعراب، وهي: الأسمية، والمضاف إليه، والمقصود، والمفعول به، والآليّة، والجار والمجرور؛ كلّ حالة من هذه الحالات تجيب عن أسئلة خاصّة بها، وكلّ كلمة في اللغة الروسيّة تتغيّر في الحالات الست، وذلك بتغيير نهاياتها إذا كانت مؤنّثة، أو بإضافة نهايات إذا كانت مذكّرة أو "محايدة" حتى إنّ الضمائر الشخصيّة، وضمائر التملّك، والصفات والعدد كلُّها تتغيّر بحسب قواعد محدَّدة.
إنطلاقاً من كلّ هذا، عمل المؤلف على تقسيم الكتاب على الشكل التالي: 1-الحروف الهجائيّة، 2-قواعد اللغة الروسيّة، 3-أمثلة وحوارات ومواقف مختلفة.
