Book Description
The book presents my understanding of the bond between Islam and peace. It is based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah, the two major sources of Islam.
It presents three meanings of the Arabic word assalaam (peace) as mentioned in a particular prayer. The meanings are then explored in terms of relevance to Islam at all levels in this world and the Hereafter.
Given the nature of reality and man, and given the norms of the Qur’an and the Sunnah, the book concludes that there could be no real or lasting peace without Islam.
