يتناول هذا الكتاب نشأة وتطور ثلاثة من أحزاب العمل الإسلامي السياسي التي ظهرت في العصر الملكي، وهي: الاخوان المسلمون وحزب التحرير الإسلامي وحزب الدعوة الإسلامية، في محاولة من مؤلف الكتاب رسول محمد رسول تسليط الأضواء على هذه الأحزاب ضمن سياقها التاريخي والسياسي والفكري.
