إن المال عصب الكون، وزينة الحياة الدنيا، وقد اهتمت الشريعة الإسلامية به، ولم تغفل عنه؛ فالإسلام جاء بمنهج كامل للحياة الإنسانية في مختلف مجالاتها الروحية والمادية، وتكفلت أحكام الشريعة الإسلامية بما يسعد البشرية؛ ولهذا فإن النظام الإسلامي في المجال الإقتصادي نظام محكم وفريد، إذ أنه ينظر إلى المال بإعتباره وسيلة للخير لا غاية في ذاته، وقد عنيت الشريعة الإسلامية بتفصيل أحكام المال، وطرق إستثماره، وقد اشتملت أحكام الفقه الإسلامي على طرق عديدة لإستثمار المال إستثماراً حلالاً.
ومن هذه الطرق شركات الأموال بأنواعها المختلفة، التي منها شركة المضاربة أو القراض، وهذه الشركة تُتِيحُ لصاحب المال الذي لا يتمكن من إستثماره؛ لعدم معرفته بطرق الإستثمار أو لإنشغاله أو لأي سبب كان، أن يشترك مع المضارب الخبير في الإستثمار؛ ليقوم بإستثمار المال، فهي شركة تقوم بين رب المال بما لديه من مال، ورب العمل - وهو الخبير بما لديه من خبرة في إستخدام وإستثمار المال، فيكون لكل واحد منهما حصةً من الربح بحسب ما يتفقان عليه.
ولأهمية هذا الأمر فقد قرر المؤلف أن يكون عنوان البحث التكميلي لنيل درجة الماجستير هو حساب المضاربة - دراسة تأصيلية تطبيقية على المصارف السعودية، وهذا الحساب هو البديل الشرعي للحسابات الربوية، حيث أنه يتيح للعميل أن يودع أمواله لدى المصرف وينتفع من خدمات المصرف، كما أنه في الوقت ذاته يأخذ أرباحاً على حسابه، كما يتيح له السحب من حسابه والإيداع فيه وفق إتفاقه مع المصرف.
