إنَّ التعدي على حق الغير يُعد من الذنوب الكبيرة، والمتعدي أي الغاصب آثِمٌ بإثمَين: بإرتكاب معصية الله وبسلب حق الخلق، فما دام لم يُرض صاحب الحق لا يرضى ولا يعفو عنه الرب تعالى، لأن الله تعالى قدّم حق الخلق على حقه في مثل هذا المورد، وهذا هو عين العدل الإلهي، وأما عمل الغصب بما هو هو فينكره الطبع الإنساني السليم وتأباه الفطرة السليمة لأنه من الأعمال التي لا يرضى بها احد لنفسه فكيف يرضى هو لغيره من الخلق، ولأجل ذلك لا تحديد فيه من حيث المورد بل كان ما كان حقاً ثابتاً لشخص أو شيء فيجب رعايته ولا يجوز غصبه والإستيلاء عليه من دون رضى صاحبه، سواء كان ذلك من الحقوق المالية أو المعنوية.
