مَنَّ البارئ سبحانه على عباده المؤمنين أنْ جعل لهم البيت حَرَماً آمناً ومكاناً للتوجه إليه في إتيان الصلاة وأداء العبادات من الحج والعمرة ورضيَ بإنتسابه إلى ذاته المقدسة... وهو غنيٌّ عن المكان لتنزّهه عن الجسم والجسمانيات، ولمكان حُبّه للخلق جعل البيت موضعاً يجتمع فيه الناس من كل مكان قريب وبعيد ليعبدوه مخلصين له الدين ولو كره المشركون... وهو البيت الوحيد في العالم كلّه لا يبيت فيه أحد من الخلق لكي يصح إطلاق الكلمة عليه كبيت... وهو رمز للوحدة بين المسلمين... فحينئذ يجب أن يكون جميع القاصدين إلى ذلك البيت الكريم على معرفة بالأحكام.
