لا يجوز غضّ الطرف عن غريزة الجنس بداعٍ من الحياء والخجل، ولا أن يترك الأمر دون ضبط وتوجيه، فإن تجاهل واجب التثقيف الجنسي من قبل المعنيين به (الوالدان، والمدرسون، والمناهج الدراسية، وعلماء الدين، والتربويون) أدى إلى دفع الأطفال والمراهقين إلى تتبع وسائل غير تربوية، لا تتوافق مع الدين وقيم المجتمع... مثل: المجلات الجنسية، وأفلام الجنس، والقنوات الفضائية الأجنبية الإباحية، ومواقع الجنس والدردشة على الشابكة (الإنترنت)، وأجهزة الهواتف النقالة التي صارت أداة لمتابعة الصور والأفلام الجنسية المتاحة في العصر الراهن، ويَعسُر ضبطها، ولا بديل عنها إلا بالاهتمام في تقديم تربية جنسية شاملة، تشتمل على تربية صحية وأخلاقية ودينية، تقي من الانحراف والرذيلة، وقد أكد كثيرٌ من المربين أن التربية الجنسية يجب أن تنطلق من الاعتراف بالغريزة الجنسية، لأنها من أنشط الغرائز في دم الإنسان؛ ولأن بقاء العمران موكول إليها. وليس مسوغاً التغاضي عن الأحاسيس الجنسية التي يشعر بها الفرد، فهي ليست أمراً مخجلاً؛ بل هي فطرة الله التي فطر الناس عليها.
