فرواية" ميموزا" تحكي عن حياة للنساء تسلط الضوء على حياة عدة شخصيات نسائية فبطلة الرواية هي الصحفية الباحثة عن تحقيق الطموحات المؤجلة وهي " سدن" والفنانة التشكيلية الحالمة والتي قد واجهت الكثير من الصعاب في حياتها وهي " سما" ، حيث يجمع القدر بين الشخصيتين لتصبحان صديقتين وتبدأ رحلة جديدة لهما.
نقرأ من أجواء الرواية: ""هناك حيث لم أكن أستطيع معرفة الوقت بالساعة، كنت أسير مع نور الشمس المنبعث من تلك النافذة الصغيرة في الأعلى، بل إنها فتحة في الجدار دون أي إطار يسمح لها أن تكون نافذة، لقد ربطت مواقع النور المنعكس على الجدار وأرض الغرفة بمواقيت صلاتي، والوقت الطويل الذي يمر علي هناك".
"فجأةً تذكرت صوت سيدة تتحدث بلغتي بطلاقة، لا أذكر اسمها الآن، ولكنها عندما كنت تسير في ذلك المكان الصغير كان الأمر مجهداً لها، لقد قالت لي في أحد الأيام: إننا هنا نعد الأيام وندركها من خلال التواريخ المدونة على حافظات الخبز البلاستيكية وعلب الألبان، فعادةً ما تكون هاتان المادتان الغذائيتان الأسرع تلفاً، لذا يسهل معرفة الأيام والتواريخ من خلالها".
"ولكن كيف لم تكن هناك ساعة وكان هناك تلفاز؟!"
