“يا سادة يا كرام قراءة في 60 روايةً عربية”، الصادر عن منشورات ضفاف اللبنانية، حيث يقع القارئ تحت تأثير سحرين، ألا وهما الاستمتاع بالقصّ الروائي ونقد هذا القصّ، الذي يُدخله في عالم التحليل والقراءة النقدية البعيدة عن التزلّف والمسايرة والصرامة الأكاديمية الجافّة.
“يا سادة يا كرام” هو مجموعة متابعات نقدية لستين روايةً سبق نشرها في صحف لبنانية وعربية، تضيء المشهد الروائي العربي في الأعوام الثلاثة الأخيرة، والأسئلة التي يطرحها.
ميزة قراءات هذه الروايات، المختلفة مضمونًا وبناءًا هي عدم الإطالة واللغو. تنتهي كل قراءة في صفحات خمس يوفّر الكاتب في بداية غالبيتها نبذة عن الرواية والفكرة التي تتمحور حولها دون التطرّق إلى التفاصيل، حيث أنه يوجز القصة بطريقة تُدخل القارئ في جوّها وتشعره كأنه قرأها حتى لو لم يكن قد اطّلع عليها قبلًا.
وينتقل بعد ذلك إلى عملية النقد ممسكًا بنصه بترابط مستحوذًا على اهتمام القارئ التام حتى النهاية. من الممكن أن يظنّ البعض أن ذلك عائد إلى طبيعة النصوص التي كُتبت أصلًا بصيغة مقالات يُلزَم الكاتب فيها بمساحة متاحة معيّنة.
إنما الحقيقة هي أن تلك ميزة يمتلكها سلمان زين الدين وتتّسم بها كتاباته النقدية كلها سواء جاءت في مقالات أو كتب.
وقد استطاع زين الدين الإبقاء على وتيرة واحدة ونمط واحد في قراءته لهذه الروايات الستين، مع العلم أنها كتبت في فترات غير متقاربة. وهذا أمر ليس بالسهل يُشهد به لزين الدين.
