يخرج سامي وأصدقاؤه في رحلة إلى الجبل، ويقود سيارته في وقت تشتد فيه العاصفة وتتساقط الثلوج على الجبال، على أمل أن تصحو السماء وتصفو قبل حلول المساء.
ولكن تجري الرياح بما لا تشتهي السفن تتوقف السيارة على طبقة الثلج في مكان خالٍ من البيوت والمارة والسيارات.
يبدأ الجميع في الفكير في حل قبل فوات الأوان، وفي هذه الأثناء "هه" في الراديو خبر جديد!"... سيارة حمراء، رقم ... لوحتها ط 5629، فقدت ، هذا اليوم، اثناء العاصفة. يقودها السائق سامي، ومعه ماليا وفريد ومنى وريما، الرجاء ممن يعرف عنها شيئاً أن يبلغ ذلك إلى احد مراكز الشرطة".
وحتى وصول المروحية إلى سيارة سامي بعيش الأصدقاء في حال من الهلع والخزف والعطش، فيهبط طاقم الطائرة لإنقاء الأولاد ولكن بعد أن أصاب سامي نزلة صدرية من شدة البرد.
