أَليسارْ أميرةٌ فينيقيّة، هي ابنةُ مَتان ملكِ صور، تزوّجت من سيخيوس، وهو الكاهنُ الأكبرُ وصاحبُ ثروةٍ ونفوذ.
توفي والدُها بعد أن أوصى بالحكمِ لها ولأخيها بيغماليون، غير أن هذا الأخير دبّرَ مكيدةً لزوجِها سيخيوس وقتلَه طمعاً بثروتِه وبالعرش، ثمّ استأثرَ بالسَلطةِ وعملَ على إخضاع شقيقتهِ.
تمرّدَت أليسار عليه وواجهَتِ إستبدادَه بتدبيرٍ يُنقذُها ومَن معها من ظلمِه، ويطلقُ لها حريَتَها، فكّرَت بالرَّحيلِ عن صور وبإنشاءِ مملكةٍ فينيقيّةٍ جديدةٍ لها ولمناصريها.
تتجلّى في الفصولِ الثّلاثةِ التّاليةِ من التّمثيليّةِ، مزايا بارزةٌ في شخصيّةِ أليسار، كما يتوضّحُ مصيرُها وما آَلَت إليه خطّتُها وأهدافُها.
