ما يميز "جوزف حرب" الشاعر اللبناني الأصيل أنه شاعر مثقف مجدد يكتب بتلقائية تجعل من قصائده ثورة رومانسية بكل ما في الكلمة من معنى. ففي جديده الشعري "كم قديم غداً" ملامح جمالية، وحنين إلى الأرض والأهل والحبيبة، وبوح شفيف يسترجع فيه أجمل لحظات العمر، فنتج عن ذلك شعر سيال يخترق النفس والروح والقلب معاً، أليس هو القائل: " وأعشق/ كل/ قنديلٍ، وبيتٍ/ ترابيّ،/ وكلَّ/ علوّ صارٍ/ وأجمل ما تكون الغاب/ أرضي./ وأجمل ما تكون الغاب/ أرضي./ وأجمل ما تكون الريحُ/ داري/ ولم أحببْ/ بهذا العصر شيئاً/ كأني قد ولدتُ/ من البراري".
يضم الديوان (130) قصيدة تنتمي لقصيدة النثر وأخرى للشعر العربي الحديث (الحر) نذكر من عناوينها: "ياسمينة" ، "الوردة" ، "إذا سمعت" ، "مِشبَكْ" ، "مهرجان" ، "ثياب" ، "عود" ، "بيتان" ، "ذاك البعيد" ... الخ.
