تجتاح البلاد الإسلامية اليوم تيارات كاسحة، تدعو كلها إلى النهوض بالإقتصاد، وإستغلال ثروات البلاد الإسلامية، وطرق سبل الحرية الإقتصادية والأخذ بسياسة التنمية، والتخطيط، وما شاكل ذلك.
وهذه التيارات تدور بين ما يعارض الرأسمالية كنظام أصبح من مخلفات القرن التاسع عشر، وبين المناداة به كبديل للوقوف في وجه الإشتراكية الزاحفة والمتربصة، وبين من ينادي علناً بأن الإشتراكية العربية، والعدالة الإجتماعية سبيل النهضة، فهذه الأمة التي تكبو غافية كل لحظة، بينما دولاب العالم في حركة دائبة صاخبة من حولها.
وقد بلغ الغزو الفكري درجة عظيمة من التأثير على الرأي العام في البلاد الإسلامية، حتى وُصفت أفكار كثيرة من الرأسمالية بأنها إسلام دون مراعاة للتقيد بالأحكام الشرعية، أو إستنباطها إستنباطاً شرعياً صحيحاً، لذلك ولأهمية هذا الموضوع تعرض المؤلف للأسس التي قام عليها النظام الإقتصادي الرأسمالي، وبيان موقف الإسلام منه، حتى تبرز صورة النظام الإسلامي.
