وقد عزّز المؤلف " إبراهيم علي دروبي " دراسته بتطرقه إلى مواضيع مهمة تتعلق بالجنسية ومنها : حق المواطنة ، وما يرتبط به من حقوق إقتصادية وإجتماعية وثقافية ، والحقوق المدنية والسياسية ، والتوازن الديموغرافي ، وأهميته في لبنان خصوصاً ، ولا سيما لجهة اختلال التوازن الطائفي والمذهبي وتأثيره على الإدارة العامة ، كما يتطرق إلى مواضيع قانونية مهمة تتعلق بالجنسية ، وقد أجاد المؤلف في معالجتها وتقصّي أبعادها ، فرسم الحدود المشروعة لمنح الجنسية لمن يستحقها ، وسلط الضوء على الثغرات التي رافقت منح الجنسية اللبنانية لأشخاص لا يستحقونها ، وذلك بموجب تسويات وحسابات سياسية ضيقة ، وتحديد طبيعة الجنسية سواء أكانت من القانون العام أو الخاص أو ذات طبيعة مزدوجة .
