في هذا الكتاب أبرز الكاتب أهم القيم الجمالية التي ارتكزت عليها لغة الشاعر وهيب عجمي الشعرية من حيث الفاعلية، والقيمة، والأهمية، ذلك أن الشاعر وهيب عجمي نوَّع في مثيرات لغته الشعرية من خلال غنى قصائده بالمواضيع والقيم، والرؤى، فهو شاعري خلاق في تشكيل الجملة الشعرية، وتوليفها في النسق الشعري بشكل جمالي، فني أخاذ، لدرجة تحتفي قصائده بمثيرات عدة، منها ما يدخل ضمن شعرية الإيقاع، ومنها ما يدخل ضمن شعرية الدلالة، ومنها ما يدخل ضمن شعرية النحو والمعجم، ومنها ما يدخل ضمن شعرية الحدث والمشهد الشعري المؤثر، ناهيك عن غنى قصائده واحتفائها بالدلالة، وتعدد المعاني، وتكثيف الإيحاءات، ولهذا، يجد دارس قصائد العجمي متعته الجمالية، سواء أكان ذلك على المستوى الدلالي، أم على المستوى الإيقاعي، أم على المستوى النحوي، أم على المستوى المعجمي، ولا يستطيع الباحث في شعرية وهيب أن يخلص إلى رأي حاسم في شعريته ، لأن شعريته متنوعة المسارب، والمؤثرات الجمالية، وهو من الشعراء الأفذاذ في توظيف الصورة، بشكل فني تشكيلي مموسق، إذ تدخل صوره في نطاق الفن التشكيلي كالرسم والنحت، فهو ينحت صوره نحتاً جمالياً يباغت القارئ بأطيافها وألوانها وظلالها اللونية المشعة بألوان الطبيعة المزهوة بالحياة. فهو شاعر من الطراز الثقيل في توظيف المشاهد والأمكنة بإيحاء شاعري وقدرة خلاقة.
