والديكور الشعري ملمح مهم في القصيدة العربية، يقوم على فكرة التأثيث بما ينسجم والفضاء النصي الذي يتباين بين توظيف المادًيًات وعدمها.
والسبب الذي يدعوني إلى القول بسيادة هذا النمط إبان مرحلة الخمسينيات، مرحلة الريادة الشعرية، هو اقتراب التفكير الشعري من مرحلة التشيؤ الذي يدعو إلى الاهتمام بالأشياء، مع اختلاف هذه النظرة بين شاعر وآخر بحسب التوجهات الأيديولوجية.
وعلى أساس هذا التصور الذي لفتته الاتجاهات الماركسية، انتقل الاهتمام من الفكرة التشيؤ، بوصفها محركاً فكرياً، إلى كونها محركاً إبداعياً.
