لمّا كانت السيرة الذاتية جنساً أدبياً مرناً ومنفتحاً ودائم التشكّل، تنوعّت مداخل قراءتها وتحليلها؛ سواء من منظور علاقتها بالعالم أو المرجع الذي تحيل إليه إمّا بمحاكاته أو بإعادة إنتاجه، أو من منظور علاقتها بالذات التي تهيمن على النص الذي تتشكّل في سياقه هويتُها الخِطابية والسردية، أو من منظور علاقتها بالمتلقي أكان قارئاً مطالباً بالإنخراط في عملية تأويلية للنص، أم قارئاً مطالباً بالتصديق والإذعان للإستراتيجيات الخِطابية الحجاجية التي تتوجّه إليه.
