لإنتاج ما تم زرعه فينا من بذور التمرد على ما نملكه إلى حد مراقبة ما يملكه الآخرون والتشكيك في طريقة حصولهم عليه بل وصولًا إلى التصديق بعدم شرعية أو قانونية الطريقة التي وصلوا بها إلى ما هم فيه، فقد نما بداخلنا الشعور بأننا مظلومون على طول الخط، بأننا لا نستحق ما نحن فيه ولا هم يستحقون ما هم فيه إلى الدرجة التي أعطت كل واحد فينا الحق في أن يأخذ بذراعه ما يعتقد هو فقط أنه حقه، لقد صدقنا أننا مظلومون وأن الآخرين.... كل الآخرين ظالمين للدرجة التي جعلت كل واحد فينا يستحق الآخر، سائق الميكروباص يستحل سائق السيارة الملاكي ومنادي السيارات يستحل من يقود السيارة والشحات يستحل كل من لا يشحت وعامل جمع القمامة يستحل صاحب البيت... والمدرس... والدكتور.... والموظف.. كلنا نستحل كلنا.
هكذا أصبحنا قبل ثورة 25 يناير... وأخوف ما أخاف على المصريين أن يستمروا هكذا بعد الثورة لأننا وقتها سنحتاج لثورة أخرى ليست على النظام أو على فلول النظام ولكننا سنحتاج لثورة جديدة على طباع المصريين وعلى ثقافة الذراع التي جعلتنا جميعًا نستحل بعضنا البعض ونحن نرى كل من هم دوننا... حرام... حرام.
بلطجة هو العنوان لما كنا عليه من ممارسات عاشها كاتب هذا الكتاب وشعر بمقدار التأخر الذي أقدمنا عليه بأنفسنا ونحن ننسى ماضينا الجميل الذي كنا نحياه وقتما كان الإنسان المصري هو إنسان يعيش بقلبه وروحه وعقله قبل أن يصبح إنسان يعيش فقط بذراعه. بلطجة هو دعوة للتغيير... بلطجة هو دعوة لقبول الآخر.. بلطجة هو دعوة لإحياء تقاليدنا الجميلة... بلطجة هو دعوة لكي لا نعيش بالبلطجة....
