يبدو لي أن نوعاً مختلفاً من المبادئ الأخلاقية والسلوك والعمل - ينطلق من فهم مسيرة الحياة برمتها - قد أصبح ضرورةً ملحة في عالمنا المليء بالأزمات والمشاكل المتفاقمة.
إننا نحاول أن نتعامل مع هذه القضايا من خلال الوسائل السياسية والتنظيمية ومن خلال الإصلاح الإقتصادي وغيره من الإصلاحات المختلفة، غير أن أيّاً من هذه الأساليب لن ينجح في إيجاد حلول لصعوبات الحياة الإنسانية المعقدة، بالرغم من أنها قد تكون حلولاً مؤقتة.
ليست الثورات السياسية والإقتصادية والإجتماعية بالرد المناسب، إما لأنها تنتج إستبداداً مرعياً أو لأنها مجرد نقلٍ للسلطات والصلاحيات إلى مجموعة أخرى.
كما أن مثل هذه الثورات لم تكن في أي وقت من الأوقات مخرجاً لإضطراباتنا ونزاعاتنا، لكن ما نحتاجه هو ثورة مختلفة كلياً تحدث بتحررنا من سلسلة المخاوف والنزاعات والخيبات التي تلم بنا.
يجب أن تنطلق تلك الثورة من تحوّل جذري في التفكير نفسه، ومثل هذا التحول لا يمكن أن يحدث إلا من خلال التعليم الصحيح والتطوير الشامل للكائن البشري، إنها ثورة يجب أن تطال العقل الكلي وليس الفكر فقط، لأن الفكر في النهاية هو النتيجة وليس المصدر.
والتحول يجب أن يحدث في المصدر، وأن لا يكون مجرد تعديل في النتيجة، لكننا في الوقت الحاضر نلعب بالنتائج والأعراض، ولا نأتي بتغيير جذري يجتث الأساليب القديمة للتفكير ويحرر العقل من العادات والتقاليد.
لذلك، فإن ما يعنينا هو هذا التغيير الجذري الذي لا يمكن أن نحدثه إلا من خلال التعليم الصحيح.
