في هذا الكتاب نقرأ قصة بني الله موسى في روايات أهل البيت، مؤلف الكتاب الخطيب السيد قاسم الغريفي الذي اهتم بالبعد العقائدي والتربوي لقصة كليم الله موسى عليه السلام. وفي هذا يقول: "إن السابر والمتتبع للأحاديث والروايات الإسلامية يلحظ بشكل كبير تأكيد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم وأئمة أهل البيت عليهم السلام على استعراض أوصاف الأنبياء والمرسلين، وهو ما دأب القرآن عليه من قبل في التأكيد على خصائصهم (...) وقد أحيا علي وبنوه عليهم السلام ذكر الأنبياء وتاريخهم وسيرهم ومواقفهم، كما جسد مواقفهم وبطولاتهم". وفي هذا السياق تأتي قصة النبي موسى التي يستعرضها المؤلف بدءاً من ولادته في مصر في عهد فرعون، وما واجه موسى مع قومه عندما كبر من بني إسرائيل في محاربته للأصنام "ويواجه موسى عليه السلام ردة من بني إسرائيل عند ذهابه لميقات ربه لتلقي الشريعة في ألواح التوراة، فيخبره الله تعالى بعبادتهم للعجل الذي صنعه السامري، فيرجع "إلى قومه غضبان أسفاً" ويعتب بقسوة على أخيه هارون، حيث كان قد استخلفه عليهم مدة ذهابه، ويطرد السامري ويفرض عليه عقوبة المقاطعة، ويحرق العجل وينسفه، ثم يتوب الله على بني إسرائيل بعد أن فرض عليهم عقاباً صارماً". تلك هي قصة نبي الله موسى عليه السلام يرويها المؤلف في سياقها القرآني والزمني وهي قصة مليئة بالعبر والدروس التربوية والمعالجات الفكرية ذات العلاقة بالعقيدة. وتبدأ هذه الدروس منذ ولادته عليه السلام بما يشابهها في قصص أهل بيت النبوة مع تلمس الفارق بين معجزته ومعجزات الأنبياء الآخرين.
