تحت عنوان "المستشرق الفرنسي لويس ماسينيون واللغة العربية" يجمع أ.د "حامد ناصر الظالمي" مقالات ودراسات المستشرق لويس ماسينيون المنشورة باللغة العربية والتي بلغت إحدى عشرة مقالاً وكتاب كان قد نشرها ماسينيون في صحف عربية مختلفة وفي أكثر من مناسبة.
يعتبر مؤلف كتاب أن "... أفكار المستشرق الفرنسي لويس ماسينيون مناقضة لما درجت عليه مدرسة الإستشراق الفرنسية وخاصة للسطوة الفكرية التي تمتعت بها أفكار أرنست رينان (1823- 1892) الذي تخصص باللغات السامية وتبوأ منصب أستاذ اللغات السامية في الكوليج دي فرانس المنصب الذي وصل غليه فيما بعد لويس ماسينيون (...) لأن دراسة اللغات منطلق لتحديد الأعراق، ولكن ماسينيون قلب الأمر إذ رأى أن اللغة العربية والساميات عامة هي لغة ذات روح إلهي وجمال لا يوجد في غيرها وهذا ما نجده في مقالاته ومحاضراته..."
من عناوين المقالات المذكورة في هذا الكتاب نذكر: 1- افتراضات في مستقبل الخط بالحروف وإنعكاسها على استبقاء الخط العربي. 2- قيمة الخط العربي لتأسيس فن النقش المجرد. 3- المعاجم الأوربية الحديثة ومدى ما تستفيده المعاجم العربية منها. 4- أشياء ضرورية لوضع أطلس عصري لمصطلحات الحرف العملية(...) إلخ.
