إبحارٌ في دروب الواقع المكْتَنز بالتّجربة والحلم والخيال، عبْرَ انعكاساته الجماليّة في صفحة الإبداع الرّوائي، ممثّلًا في أربعةِ أعمالٍ روائية، هي: رواية "العيب" ليوسف إدريس: وهي الرّواية التي تجسّد تيمةَ المواجهة أو (مساءلة الواقع). رواية "خافية قمر" لمحمّد ناجي: وهي رواية تسعى نحْو كشف العلاقات الواقعيّة في ثيابٍ من النضارة الدّاهشة للمتلقي؛ تحت ما أسماه الباحثون بـ "الواقعيّة السحريّة". رواية "يوميات امرأة مشعة" لنعمات البحيري: وهي رواية تقدّم تيمةَ الألم أو (مقاومة الواقع) من خلال معالجة تجربة المرض. رواية "أيّام النّوافذ الزّرقاء" لعادل عصمت: والتي تتجسّد فيها تيمةُ الحلم، القائمة على استحضارِ ذاكرة الحنين إلى الماضي. لقد توسلت هذه الدّراسة المتواضعة بمقولاتِ علم السّرد من جانبٍ، وتطوّرات علم الخطاب وغيرِه من الحقول المعرفيّة ذاتِ الأساس اللّساني من جانبٍ ثانٍ، وبقيّة مقولات النقد الأيديولوجي من جانبٍ ثالث؛ لتفيدَ من كلّ ذلك في محاولتها استكشاف حدود العملية الإبداعيّة، وآلياتِ البناء السّردي للرّواية العربية في تمثّلها للواقع بتجاربه وإشْكالاته التي لا تنتهي.
