هذا الكتاب الذي بين يديك عبارة عن مجموعة من المحاضرات والدروس التي ألقاها السيد محمد حسين البهشتي في صف لكوادر حزب الجمهورية الإسلامية، في صيف (سنة 1980م). وقد دارت رحى هذه المحاضرات حول المعرفة الفطرية، وقد حاول أن يعالج ويناقش في هذه المحاضرات بعض أصول النظرية الماركسية التي كانت منتشرة بين أوساط الشباب في إيران في مطلع الثورة الإسلامية، بل وفي كل البلاد الإسلامية، وأن يسلط الضوء على بعض المفاهيم الإسلامية المقابلة لها.
من هنا كانت المحاضرات مع بساطتها واعتمادها على الأسلوب الواضح والسهل، تحتوي على الكثير من المفاهيم المهمة والأساسية التي يحتاجها الإنسان المسلم في كل وقت وحين، حتى في عصرنا الذي اندحر فيه الفكر الماركسي وتلاشت شوكته، التي كانت تشكل الخطر الأكبر على المسلمين في الماضي، فإن هذه الدروس تبقى محافظة على رونقها وحيويتها، لما تحتوي عليه من مفاهيم إسلامية، وأفكار فلسفية تساعد الفرد المسلم على تحصين ذاته من غزو الأفكار الفلسفية الأخرى.
ومن هذا المنطلق كانت ترجمة هذا الكتاب تحتوي على تلك الأهمية التي يحملها هو نفسه، وإن كان هذا الأمر قد تأخر بعض الشيء عن وقته، إلا أن القيمة الأساسية فيه تبقى محفوظة، مهما طال به الزمن.
