فقد تسلقت تلك المرأة سلالم النجاح درجة درجة، متسلحة بشخصية حديدية وذوق فطري عالٍ، بعد أن تلقفها في البداية أرستقراطيون فتحوا لها الأبواب وموّلوا تجارتها الصغيرة إلى أن كبرت لتصبح إمبراطورية لها وزنها العالمي في مجال الموضة.
في هذا الكتاب قصة المصممة كإنسانة وقصص أخرى عنها كمحترفة وصور ووثائق نادرة عن الرحلة الفريدة التي خاضتها امرأةٌ أرست موضةً لم تبطل حتى الآن.
