درست العلوم السياسية والأدب العربي في الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت.
تشرف على إنهاء رسالة الماجستير في الأدب العربي في الجامعة نفسها.
تعمل حاليا مديرة تحرير مجلة "لها" التابعة لجريدة "الحياة" البيروتية.
روايتان "الأسبوع الأخير"، دار الساقي 2006 و"استديو بيروت" دار الساقي عام 2008.
تنشر أسبوعياً قصة قصيرة في مجلة «لها» منذ عام 2000

"وصلت إلى الحديقة قبل موعدي مع ريما بساعة. شربت رائحة القهوة من كوب بلاستيكي حملته معي. شربت كذلك شوقي إلى ربيع وغضبي منه. فكرت في أن أكتب له كي لا أكسر لعبة الصمت بيننا. أردت أن أكتب له عن رغبتي الملحة في أن أصبح أماً. ماذا أكتب لربيع الآن؟ كيف يمكن أن تكتب حياة ومشروع حياة جديدة؟ أريده أن يهدأ، أن يحبني فقط ويثق بي، أن أنام على صدره كل ليلة وتمأ أنفه رائحة شعري الذي يعشقه. في الكتب أجد ربيع. أجده في كل مكان وكل شيء، في أجمل الصفحات أقرأ عينيه. في الكتاب الأسود أيضاً أحمله معي".
