هذا الكتاب هو شرح منظومة جوهرة التوحيد المسمى بـ (إتحاف المريد بجوهرة التوحيد) للشيخ عبد السلام اللقاني بن الشيخ إبراهيم اللقاني مؤلف الجوهرة المعروفة ومع الكتاب حاشية الشيخ (محمد الأمير). والكتاب حقيقة من الكتب الجليلة القدر التى صنفت فى علم الكلام لانه جمع على وجه التقريب عقيدة (أهل السنة والجماعة)، إلا أنه نهج منهج الخلف فى تأويل الصفات، والصواب في ذلك هو التفويض والتسليم لله رب العالمين. فضلاً على ذلك أنه (أى الشارح) استبعد بعض المباحث التى هي أشبه بالفلسفة منها بعلم الكلام، مثل الذى نراه فى المواقف للعلامة (الأيجي) والمقاصد (للتفتازانى) والمحصل (للرازي) والإرشاد (للجويني) وغيرهم. وكان عملي في هذا الكتاب هو: 1- عزو الآيات القرآنية. 2- تخريج الأحاديث النبوية مع الحكم عليها بالصحة والضعف اعتماداً في ذلك على أقوال علماء الحديث.3- قمت بإضافة بعض التعليقات الهامة والتنبيه على بعض المخالفات. 4- قمت بعمل مقدمة موجزة مع ترجمة للشيخين (ابن الأمير واللقاني).
