إن من أهم العلوم التي ينبغي على الإنسان أن يتعلمها علم التوحيد، فهو علم عظيم، شأنه جليل قدره، يعالج أهم قضايا الإنسان على هذه الأرض: قضية الألوهية، وقضية الرسالة، وقضية الجزاء في اليوم الآخر. وقد ألف علماء السلف الصالح جيلاً بعد جيل في علم التوحيد مؤلفات تعلم الناس تلك القضية على أحسن وجه وأبر طريق. وكتاب حاشية الإمام الباجوري هو من المؤلفات للشيخ اللقاني المهمة في هذا الباب، وقد تم اختياره لقراءته والتعليق عليه.
حيث سار الإمام الباجوري فيه على نسة شيخه الفضالي من تبسيط العلم للناس، ومراعاة جانب الدعوة في الدرس، فعبارته سهلة، وفوائده منتشرة مبثوثة خلال الكتاب، يضبط الأمر بقواعد كلية وضوابط متعددة، ويستشهد بالشعر والنظم الخفيف اللطيف ليحفظه المبتدىء. وقد قام المحقق بإخراجه بشكل تسهل فيه قراءته على القراء من جميع المستويات بوضع علامات ترقيم تساعد على فهم النص وبضبط ما يمكن أن يشكل نحواً وصرفاً ولغة، مع عزو الآيات إلى مواطنها، وتخريج الأحاديث والحكم عليها غالباً، والكلام على الأشعار والنظم بما يفيد، وحل ما أشكل من غريب اللغة، وعمل الفهارس اللازمة. مع التعليق على مواطن من الكتاب تكشف عن مقصود المصنف، وتفيد طالب العلم… في فهم كتب التراث، ومبادئ منطلقاته. وقد تمت فائدة هذا الكتاب المحقق بإدراج ترجمة إضافية للإمام الباجوري.
تتحدث هذه الحاشية التي وضعت على نظم جوهرة التوحيد عن مطويات من الرموز والأسرار في علم التوحيد، وتكشف النقاب والأستار عن مكنونات هذا العلم الجليل الذي يعالج أهم قضايا الإنسان على هذه الأرض: قضية الألوهية، وقضية الرسالة، وقضية الجزاء في اليوم الآخر ؛ الثواب لمن عبد الله وعمَّر الأرض من خلال هذه العبادة، والعقاب لمن انحرف عن هذه الغاية فأشرك به سبحانه وهو أغنى الأغنياء عن الشرك، وأفسد في الأرض بغير الحق فسبب للإنسان والإنسانية الشقاء مرة بالاستعمار الظالم، ومرة بإبعاد الشعوب بدعوى المدنية والحضارة، ومرة في محاكم التفتيش بتعذيب خلق الله، ومرة بالتهارج وشيوخ الزنا والخنا، ومرة بالتفرقة العنصرية والتكبر على العالمين مع نفاق متأصل في النفس، فتناقش قضية الحمد والثناء وتفسير صلاة الله والملائكة وتعريف التوحيد ومبادئه وحكم الصلاة على غير الأنبياء والتعريف بالعقيدة وأحكامها وغير ذلك من أمور التوحيد وعلم العقيدة .
