"جوهرة التوحيد" أرجوزة نظمها اللقاني من 144 بيتاً في مقدمة وإلهيات وُنبوات وسمعيات، وقد أفاض، وأفاد الشيخ الأمير في حاشيته هذه التي نقدم لها، والتي دوّن فيها شرحاً "لإتحاف المريد شرح جوهرة التوحيد" حيث عني بنقل الأقوال، وسرد الأدلة، وإيضاح اللفظ والمعنى، وقد اعتاد "الشيخ الأمير" التميز والإبداع في صنع الحواشي العلمية، وذلك واضح من مصنفاته النافعة، لهذا فقد عني "أحمد فريد المزيدي" بتحقيق هذا الكتاب، حيث تجلى عمله بمطابقة نص الكتاب على الطبعتين الأولى: طبعة الأميرية الحجرية، وطبعة الباني الحلبي، كما وقام بعزو الآيات القرآنية إلى سورها، وتخريج الأحاديث النبوية لمصادرها من كتب السنة الشريفة، معلقاً على بعض مواضيع الكتاب التي رأى أهمية التعليق عليها.
جوهرة التوحيد 144 بيتا من الرجز في العقيدة اهتم العلماء بها، وممن شرحها الشيخ عبد السلام ابن ناظمها، وهي حاشية أقرب الى االطول، فهي أكبر من شرح الشيخ عبد السلام وهو ينسب بعض الأقوال الى أصحابها، ويعرف ببعض العلماء الذين ورد اسمهم في الشرح، ويفصل بعض الأحكام العقائدية والشروط، ويبين بعض الأخطاء الشائعة. وقد خرجت الأحاديث في الهامش.
