إن الهدف من هذا الكتاب المنهجي هو تقديم مقدمة في النظرية الكهرومغناطيسية للطلبة الأعزاء في المرحلة الأخيرة من دراستهم في قسم الفيزياء من كليات العلوم والتربية.
يتضمن الفصل الأول على المعلومات الأساسية ع الكهرباء المستقرة الساكنة. وفي الفصل الثاني تم مناقشة السعة الكهربائية.
تم التطرق في الفصل الثالث إلى التيار الكهربائي وبإسهاب وتطرقنا في الفصل الرابع إلى نظريات تحليل الدارات الكهربائية. وتضمن الفصل الخامس الطوريات. أما الفصل السادس فقد بحث في التيار المتردد.
ويتضمن الفصل السابع المجال المغناطيسي، فيما عالج الفصل الثامن موضوع منشأ المجال المغناطيسي. أما الفصل التاسع فقد بحث في موضوع الحث الكهرومغناطيسي.
