صمد بهرنجي (بالإنجليزية: Samad Behrangi) (مواليد 24 يونيو 1939 - الوفاة 31 أغسطس 1967)، هو كاتب ومعلم وناقد إجتماعي ومترجم إيراني من أصول أذريّة.[1] وهو مشهور بكِتابتِه لكُتب الأطفال، وخاصة كتاب السمك الأسود الصغير.
تأثر بالأيديولوجيات اليسارية التي كانت شائعة بين المُثقفين الإيرانيين في عَصّره، بالعادة مثَّلَت كُتُبه حياة الأطفال الفقراء في المناطق الحضرية، وتشجيع الأفراد على تغيير هذه الظروف التي كتبها في كتبه.

نَحْنُ سُعَداءُ لِأَنَّنا دارُ النَّشْرِ الوَحيدَةُ الّتي نَشَرَتْ كِتابَ "السَّمَكَة السَّوْداء الصَّغيرَة"، وحَصَلْنا على حُقوقِ النَّشْرِ، ونَحْنُ نَعْتَقِدُ أَنَّ "السَّمَكَة السَّوْداء الصَّغيرَة" سَوْفَ يَكونُ كِتاباً قَيِّماً بِوساطَةِ التَّرْجَمَةِ الدَّقيقَةِ الّتي قامَ بِها فريقُ الدَّارِ، والرُّسومِ الجَميلَةِ لِنجمِ الدِّينِ أسما.
"لَمْ أُولَدْ مِثْلَ الفِطْرِ بِلا أَبٍ ولا أُمٍّ، ولَكِنَّني أَمُوتُ مِثْلَ الفِطْرِ، غَيْرَ أَنَّني لا أَنْهارُ بِسُهولَةٍ مِثْلَهُ، وأَيْنَما كانَتِ الرُّطوبَةُ كُنْتُ أَمْتَصُّها، حَيْثُ لا يَكونُ هُناكَ مَنْ يَسْقيني، وإِنَّما قَدْ نَمَوْتُ بِشَكْلٍ مُعْوَجٍّ مِثْلَ شَجَرَةِ العُتْمِ، واكْتَفَيْتُ بِالقَليلِ مِنَ الماءِ، وصِرْتُ مَعْلَماً في قُرى أَذَرْبيجانَ".
