- تخرج في كلية الآداب، قسم الفلسفة، جامعة القاهرة عام ( 1959م ).
- عمل مدرسًا بوزارة التربية والتعليم من ( 1960 - 1962م ).
- حصل على دكتوراه الفلسفـة في التربيـة من كليـة التربيـة بجامعـة عيـن شمس عام ( 1969م ).
- اختير معيدًا بكلية التربية بجامعة عين شمس عام ( 1962م )، وتدرج بها إلى درجة أستاذ عام ( 1979م )، واستمر بها حتى الآن.
- دعي أستاذًا زائرًا بجامعات صنعاء، وأم القرى، والكويت، وعجمان، واليرموك، عدة فصول دراسية.
- دعي إلى مهمات علمية في الولايات المتحدة وبريطانيا عدة مرات، فترات مختلفة.
- شارك في مؤتمرات عقدت بالسعودية، والعراق، والبحرين، وقطر، وتونس، والجزائر، ولبنان، والأردن، والإمارات العربية، وسلطنة عمان، ولندن، وسان فرانسيسكو.
Book Description
توزعت هذه الموسوعة بأجزائها الخمسة على الفترات التاليخية التالية:
1- مصر القديمة، حيث تتضمن فترات حكم ما اصطلح على تسميته حكم الفراعنة، ثم ما تلاه من حكم لليونان، ثم الرومان. 2- مصر الإسلامية، وتمتد من فتح عمرو بن العاص رضى الله عنه لمصر حتى قيام دولة محمد على فى بداية الرن التاسع عشر. 3- الأسرة العلوية، ونقصد بها أبناء وأحفاد محمد على باشا حتى عام (1952م). 4- ثورة (23) يوليو سنة (1952م)، إلى عام (1970م). 5- الفترة التى حكم فيها كل من أنور السادات، وحسنى مبارك حتى عام (2010م). وسوف يلاحظ القارئ التفاوت الشديد فى الفترات التاريخية الخاضعة للدراسة، ولعل أبرزها الفترة الأولى، ثم الفترة قبل الأخيرة، وذلك تبعاً لمدى ثراء المادة العلمية، فضلاً عن الوقائع التى شهدها المسرح التعليمى، فى إطاره الثقافى. وإذا كنا قد أطلقنا وصف "التطور الثقافى"، على كل الحقب موضوع الدراسة، فذلك وفقاً لأساس فكرى، ومنهجية علمية نؤمن بهما، حيث نرى أن الإنسان كما يتأثر شكله، بل وسلوكه وفقاً للموقع الجعرافى بما يحمله من تضاريس ومناخ، فإن خطواته فى بناء منظوماته الاجتماعية تتأثر تأثراً كبيراً بالسياق الثقافى المحيط، ومن ثم فإن الوقوف فقط عند حد تتبع وقائع التعليم، ومعالم الفكر التربوى، بغير عملية استقصاء كلية، لا تفيد فى الفهم والتفسير، فضلا عن التوظيف والاستفادة. كذلك فإن هذا المدخل أو المنطلق أو المنهجية، تفرض علينا ألا نتوقف طويلاً وكثيراً أمام الوقائع التعليمية نفسها، من حيث مؤسسات التعليم والطلاب والمعلمين، وما يتصل بهذا وذاك من منظومة التعليم، وإنما نركز أكثر على المسارات العامة، والرؤى الكلية.
