إن هذا الكتاب يمثِّل قراءة لما جاء في القرآن العظيم من نص إلهي مقدس تطرَّق إلى الله تعالى فيه إلى موضوع خلق الإنسان مبيّناً الأمر كما لا نستطيع أن نعثر على مثله قصة في غيره من الكتب تقترب من الحقيقة إقترابه منها.
وأعني بالكتب كل ما سطرته يد إنسان، عالِماً كان أم من العلوم، وتبيِّن هذه القراءة للنصوص القرآنية المقدسة ذات العلاقة والصلة بخلق الإنسان أن نظرة العلم النظري المعاصر إلى هذا الموضوع لا ينبغي أن تؤخذ على محمل الإعتقاد التقديسي والتصديق التام، بحيث يحَرِّم على العقل السليم مطالبتها بتقديم الدليل القاطع بصحة ما تذهب إليه وحيثما كان الأمر يستدعي ذلك.
إن القراءة المتدبرة للقرآن العظيم بوسعها أن تكشف النقاب، إذا ما تسلح القارئ بعتاد علمي تجريبي - إختباري ينهل من صحيح ما جاءنا به المختبر ويستعين بتدبر سليم ونظرة فاحصة متمحصة في ظواهر الوجود إنساناً وبيئة، عن حقيقة مذهلة.
وهذه الحقيقة مفادها أن قصة خلق الإنسان كما جاءنا بها القرآن العظيم لن تكون موافقة لما جاءنا به العلم المعاصر تمام الموافقة؛ وذلك لان هذا العلم، بشقِّه النظري، قد اقتصر في النظر إلى الإنسان وظواهره على جانب يسير فحسب من طيفه الواسع الممتد.
وبذلك، لم يستطع العلم أن يرى في الإنسان إلا ما يوجد من شديد تشابه بينه وبين الحيوان وفاته أن يتدبر في عظيم التناشر الكائن بين الحيوان والإنسان خلقاً وخُلِّقاً؛ هذا التناشز الذي إن نحن تبيّناه على ما هو عليه حقاً وحقيقةً، وكما يستحق أن يُتدبّر، فإننا خالصون لا محالة إلا أنه من المحال أن يكون الإنسان قد نشأ وارتقى وتطور في ظل حزمة القوانين الطبيعية التي توهَّمها العلم النظري المعاصر السُّنن والثوابت التي لا يستقيم للطبيعة وجود إلا بها.
