التفسير الصوفي للنصوص الدينية لا يكون إلا رمزياً؛ وهو أخلاقي المقصود والأساس والتاج. ثم هو، في كلمةٍ أخرى، نفساني.
الإدراكُ، في ذلك التفسير للنص (آية، حديث، شعائر، إيمانيات، الخ)، يُفصِح عن الروحاني. وبذلك فنحن أمام مستوىً من النظر والفهم خاص، ورفيع وإرفاعي؛ وأمام قراءة تنّقب في العتمات واللامفصوح، وفي الفياوي، وما تحت اللفظة أو ما بعدها ويتعدّاها.
إنه قولٌ في التفسير والفهم؛ ليس باطنياً، ولا هو مُغال. وكما أنه ليس فكراً مُتَهَرْمِساً، فهو أيضاً خطابٌ غير غنوصي، وغير مُتَغَونص.
له شخصيته، وكينونته، وله ذاتٌ مستقلة، مختلفة، جديدة أو غريبة، وغير شعبية. إنه قطاع من التراث؛ وثروة، وفكر؛ وهو الجانب الآخر من النظر، من اللوحة، من المعرفة والوجود والقيمة. إنه نمط فكري أرخي أو عبر حضاري.
