يبدي علماء الشيعة إهتماماً ملحوظاً بالقضايا السياسية بإعتبارها تشكل جانباً هاماً من قضايا الأمة الإسلامية التي تحدد مصيرها وتمثل طموحاتها وآمالها ومواجهاتها تجاه أعدائها، وتشغل القضية الفلسطينية حيزاً كبيراً دون بقية قضايا الأمة الإسلامية بإعتبارها الجرح الأعمق النازف منذ أكثر من نصف قرن، ولحجم الضحايا من المسلمين ممن تضرروا فيها، ولما تختزنه أرض فلسطين من مقدسات إسلامية تختصر المسيرة الرسالة السماوية منذ إبراهيم الخليل عليه السلام إلى الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم.
تسلط هذه الدراسة الضوء على أهم محطات الصراع الإسلامي - الصهيوني ودور بعض العلماء الشيعة في مساندة القضية الفلسطينية ونصرة الشعب الفلسطيني معنوياً وسياسياً ومادياً.
وتجنباً للإطالة، نقل المؤلف نصوص الفتاوى الشرعية والخطابات السياسية بإعتبارها وثائق سياسية - تاريخية تعكس طبيعة الأجواء السياسية وبيئة الأحداث، وتصوّر المشاعر المعبّرة عن مواقف أولئك العلماء وتسجّل نبض الشارع العربي والإسلامي خلال مسار تطورات القضية الفلسطينية.
