قيـض اللَّـه سبحانه وتعالى لهـذا القـرآن رجـالًا جعلـوه فـي قلوبهــم وأعمالهـم؛ وكـان على رأسـهــم صحــابة رسول اللَّـه "صلى الله عليه وسلم" الذين كانـت لهــم جهود عظيمـة بذلوها في تعليمه والعناية به ابتغاء رضوان اللَّـه، فانطلقوا يجوبون الفيافي والقفار، ويقطعون المفاوز والبحار، ينشرون القرآن في أصقاع الأرض. وهم كانوا السبب في وصول الإسلام إلينا, وفي تعليم كل خير وهدى تنال به السعادة والنجاة.
ويأتي كتابنا هذا ليبين جهودهم والمنهج النبوي الأصيل الذي اتبعوه في سبيل ذلك؛ لندرك عظيم المسؤولية الملقاة على عواتقنا للسير على خطاهم واقتفاء آثارهم المباركة {أولئك الذين هدى الله فبهداهم اقتده}، والأمة إلى الآن ما تزال ناعمة في آثار علمهم وعدلهم وجهادهم إلى يـوم القيامة, فلهم من الأجر بقدر أجور الأمة إلى يوم القيامة مضافاً إلى أجر أعمالهم التي اختصوا بها.
