لماذا تعتمد الكنائس المسيحية الاناجيل الأربعة ولا تعتمد غيرها كإنجيل برنابا مثلاً؟؟.. طبعاً هناك أجوبة من قبل الكهنوتيين القيمين على الفكر المسيحي والتطور الكنسي، وكل تلك الأجوبة لا تستند إلى المنطق العلمي الموضوعي إنما تستند إلى بعد ديني خاص. إذ كان اللاهوتيين يرفضون إنجيل برنابا لأنه لا يقر بإلوهية المسيح فهناك فرق مسيحية رفضت هذا التأليه. وحين نراجع تاريخ تأليف الأناجيل الأربعة نرى أنها كتبت للذوق الأوروبي وليس الشرقي.
وفي هذه الدراسة المقارنة تناولنا الأناجيل الأربعة بالدراسة والتحليل مقارنة بإنجيل برنابا. دراسة شخصية برنبابا وعلاقته بالمسيح وبالحواريين وبالأخص بولس. مقارنة إنجيل برنابا ومضامين الأناجيل من حيث العقيدة والتشريع والأنبياء، ومفهوم التأليه والصلب للمسيح. ثم مقارنة ما بين إنجيل برنابا والقرآن والكريم. هذا القسم الأول من الكتاب ثم القسم الثاني أوردنا النصوص الكاملة لإنجيل برنابا ليصار الرجوع إليها عند الحاجة ولمن يحب التوسع والاستزادة.
