عندما يتحدث الليبراليون والعلمانيون عن الأمة العربية يقولون أنها الأمة التي ينضوي تحتها الجميع مسلمون ويهود ونصارى وبوذيون وعباد بقر ووثنيون دون تفرقة ، فالوطن للجميع والدين لله الغريب في أمر هؤلاء أنهم يدعون الجميع لاقتسام الوطن والمستقبل بعدالة ورومانسية مرهفة.. لكنهم لا يدعون أحداً لتلقي الضربات سوى المسلمين كيف ذلك ؟ عند نقد الماضي وقراءته لا ينتقدون سوىالإسلامي فقط . . أمر غريب أولسنا نقول: إن الوطن للجميع..؟! إذا. فالحديث عن الماضي ونقد التراث يعني الحديث عن ماضي الجميع ونقد تراث الجميع ، هذا إن كنا موضوعيين حقا.. لكن الذي يحدث من الليبراليين العرب شيء كارثي.. هناك انتقاد للقرآن والسنة والتراث والتاريخ والماضي الإسلامي تحت شعار العلمانية الثقافية .. وهناك صمت مطبق وخوف رهيب من التطرق للتراث المسيحي بل واليهودي ..
