"دراسات تشير إلى دراية واسعة في موروفولوجيا النصوص، وتقدم جديداً في تفكيك مفاصلها: الأبنية والأنساق والتضاد، ومستوياتها اللغوية والبلاغية والصوتية، وهي الممارسة الغائبة في التمارين النقدية على الساحة السورية، وهذه ميزة لا تتسنّى إلا للقلّة من متابعي الشعر العربي عموماً.
لا يستسلم الكتاب لمنهجية أكاديمية صادمة مثقلة بالمفاهيم الوافدة التي تتعارض مع واقع الحال، ولا يُسرِف في التبسيط الذي يُخِلَّ بمنهجية البحث، بل يقدِّم نفسَه ليكون قريباً من قارئه، بأسلوب يجمع بين صفتين: وَفْرةِ المعلومة وتقديمها بسهولة في الطرح والصياغة، ولغةٍ مستقيمة لا تتعثّر بكَثرة المصطلحات والمفاهيم الوافدة، ولا تتعالى على القارئ، ولا تستسلم للقول الشائع والتوصيف المتكرِّر".
