تمحورت جل الدراسات، التي مدارها البطل، حول صورة الرجل، باعتبارها نموذجاً وحيداً للبطولة. في هذه الدراسة، تيسر الدكتورة فيحاء عبد الهادي الولوج إلى نموذج المرأة/ البطل في الرواية الفلسطينية المعاصرة، حيث ترصد-بدقة- صور البطولة النسوية الفلسطينية في الروايات التي احتلت المرأة الشخصيات الرئيسية المحركة فيها، وتعتمد الدراسة أدوات الاتجاه الاجتماعي في التحليل، وعلى نحو أخص، أدوات البنيوية التوليدية، التي أرساها لوساها لوسيان جولدمان، مستهدفة رد الظواهر إلى ملابساتها التاريخية والاجتماعية، مع معالجة نقدية دقيقة للنصوص، بتحليل محتوياتها الفكرية، وتشكيلاتها الجمالية. ويستمد موضوع الدراسة أهميته من الدور البطولي الفريد الذي اضطلعت به المرأة الفلسطينية، في صمن ودأب وعزيمة لا تحد، في إطار التاريخ النضالي للشعب الفلسطيني، ضد ممارسات الاستعمار الصهيوني الاحلالي الاجلائي الإخلائي الاستيطاني التوسعي، على أرض فلسطين العربية، هذا الدور الذي استلهمت الرواية الفلسطينية نماذجه وأشكاله المختلفة، بينما عمقت هذه الدراسة وعيناً بعوالمه وفعالياته وزواياه.
