Book Description
عاش العرب والكرد قروناً عدة في فضاء جغرافي وثقافي واحد، لا تفرّق بينهم حدود الإختلاف الإثني، لكن، حين ساد العالمَ الأنموذج السياسي القائم على القومية، وحين أُوّلت القومية بأنها الهوية الإثنية، وحين نشأت الدولة الوطنية التي كان عليها أن تستوعب الهويات السياسية، ومنها الهوية الكردية الناشئة، بدأت المسألة الكردية، وبدأ الكلام عن وضع خاص للكرد بعدما كانوا جزءاً من الإمبراطوريات الإسلامية في تاريخ المنطقة، وآخرها الإمبراطورية العثمانية.
في المرحلة ذاتها تقريباً، تحولت الهوية العربية أيضاً إلى هوية سياسية، فتفككت الشراكة العربية - الكردية التاريخية، ورافقت صعود النزعة القومية الكردية حزمةً من التعبيرات الثقافية، هدفت إلى فصل ما هو كردي عمّا هو عربي، ولم تمنع تجربةُ التاريخ العربي - الكردي المشترك، وقد انفرط عقدُها، المسألة الكردية من أن تكون المسألة الإثنية الأكثر عسراً وعصياناً التي واجهت الدولة العربية الحديثة.
في هذا الكتاب مختارات من بحوث قدمت في مؤتمر العرب والكرد: المصالح والمخاوف والمشتركات الذي عقده المركز العربي للأبحاث ودراسة السياسات في 29 نيسان / أبريل - 1 أيار / مايو 2017، تناول المشاركون فيه التكون التاريخي للمسألة الكردية في المشرق العربي، والمسألة الكردية في محيطيها العربي والإقليمي، والهواجس الثقافية المتأنية من العلاقات العربية - الكردية.
