Book Description
يدور موضوع الكتاب عن "حقوق الحيوان في الإسلام" وفيه يقدم السيد جعفر مرتضى العاملي عدداً من النصوص المختلفة، التي تتضمن ضوابط وأحكام، ونصائح وتوجيهات، تحدد نظرة الإسلام إلى المخلوقات، وتبين طريقة التعامل معها في الحالات المختلفة.
يقول المؤلف في معرض تقديمه لهذا الكتاب: "... وكان من جملة ما رسمه لنا في نهجه القويم - أي الله جلّ جلاله - وصراطه المستقيم، تلك الطريقة التي رضيها لنا في التعامل مع ذوات الأرواح، بعد أن قرر أننا مسؤولون عنها: فقد روى عن الإمام أمير المؤمنين رضي الله عنه قوله: "اتقوا الله في عباده وبلاده، فإنكم مسؤولون حتى عن البقاع والبهائم...".
من هنا، جاء اهتمام المؤلف لعرض طائفة من النصوص والروايات التي ترتبط بموضوع الرفق بالحيوان والهدف "وعسى ولعل يتمكن بعض المهتمين بهذا الشأن من العمل على التطبيق العملي، ولو بصورة جزئية لشيء من ذلك... فإن ما لا يدرك كله، لا يترك جلُّه".
يتألف الكتاب من فصلين، يسلط الفصل الأول الضوء على أخلاق الحيوانات بينما يهتم الفصل الثاني بأحكام وضوابط الرفق بالحيوان.
