تتمتع عُمَان بعمق حضاري وتنوع جغرافي نسيهما او تناساهما أهلهما، تاريخ عتيق، وتنوّع في الأعراق المكوّنة، والألسن المستخدمة، والثقافات الممارسة بشكل عزيز النظير، وقد أثرى ذلك هجرات مضادة وتلاق وتلاقح.
إن دولة عُمان الكبرى امتدت في القديم لتغطي مساحات إضافية خارج الجزيرة العربية، ولتصل إلى أرض فارس ودولتي الباكستان والهند، ثم تحتل مساحات واسعة من الصومال إلى رأس دلجادو وجزر القمر وأجزاء من مدغشقر.
والواقع أن محاولات حثيثة سبقت لإبراز ثراء الجانب الأفريقي لعمان الكبرى، في دراسات قامت بها مجموعة من الباحثين العمانيين الشباب، إلاّ أن الجانب الآسيوي لم يظفر حتى الآن، ولو بدراسة واحدة قبل الدراسة التي بين أيدينا الدكتور خالد البلوشي الذي سبق أقرانه في فتح هذا المجال، بعمق ومنهجية، وفي كتابه الشائق والمهم هذا "إستشراف التجربة العمانيّة في جوادر، نحو خطاب إنساني متعدد".
يعالج الباحث بإقتدار وحنكة مسائل تاريخية ولغوية متّصلة بالعلاقة بين عمان وجزء عزيز منها يقع في الجانب الآسيوي هو "جوادر" الواقعة في مكران، وعلى الرغم من أنّ هذا العمل هو الأول في مجاله، فإن أكاديمية الباحث أولاً وروحه الشاعرة منعتاه من الإنزلاق في فخّ سرد الأخبار سرداً مجرّداً.
والباحث الشاعر جمع مادته فاستخلص رحيقها وتمثّلها وقدَّم الشعر البلوشي بترجمة عربية هي إبداع في ذاته، إذ تغدو الترجمة محرّكاً لنصّ جديد إبداعي مستلهم من النص الأول، ومنفكّ - في الوقت نفسه - من أسر معاني النص الأصل، ومنفك من إسار صوره، إنها الترجمة الإبداعية "برسم الكلمة".
